The Holiday Inn Club Vacations Training Manager will be responsible for the implementation, facilitation, and ongoing support of Corporate Training Programs at our resorts and corporate office. Working closely with their Regional Training Manager, the Training Manager will also act as a consultant for the resort network to help identify training opportunities to assist in reaching resort-specific and company-wide service goals. Additionally, the Training Manager will assist in company-wide initiatives that drive the Growth Roadmap. This position will be based remotely but may travel up to 10% of the time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

  • Facilitation of Corporate Training Programs - Facilitation of Corporate Training Programs can include Orientation (Operations/Sales & Marketing), Company Service Culture, Job Skills Training, Employee Engagement Team, etc. Assist in the start-up of Product Launches at Resort. Work with Regional Managers in coordinating/facilitating regional workshops/meetings.
  • Program Management - Manage local onboarding programs, Customer Experience (CX) Program, Kemmon’s Spirit of Innovation Challenge, department trainer program, employee engagement committee, internship program, and other programs that enhance the Team Member experience from a learning & development and engagement perspective. Develop Team Members within the various programs. Monitor completion/renewal of required compliance programs and licensing.
  • Provide Consultation and Support to Departments - Supervise department’s compliance with Corporate Training Programs/Initiatives. Work closely with Resort Leaders, Regional Manager, and Brand Delivery Team to identify and recommend solutions for any obstacles and/or business needs. Develop Local Trainers through guidance and advice. Assist in creation of Personal Development Plans, Career Pathing, and other team member development initiatives. Communicate learning and development updates regularly with Regional Manager.
  • Administrative Support - Responsible for monitoring the status of training compliance and effectiveness of Corporate Training programs through feedback, tracking reports, and other measures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Able to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • One year of experience in live classroom facilitation, public speaking, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Programs (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher)

EDUCATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Hospitality, Education, Psychology, or related field preferred.
  • Professional facilitation skills preferred.
  • One year of experience in hospitality, learning & development, or resort operations preferred.
  • Corporate/Adult Learning experience preferred.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Indirectly leads participating Team Members in Department Trainer Program and Employee Engagement Program.
